What a great first week it has been! We have really enjoyed our new curriculum Little Hearts For His Glory! God has been our focus and we have truly been blessed by it. The Glory of God has been surrounding us and filling us everyday!
We start every morning with morning board during breakfast then praise and worship, prayer and then we go straight into the lesson plan which consists of History, Science, Bible, Rhymes in motion, Fine motor skills, Handwriting, Storytime (our first chapter book..YAY) Phonics, Math, Thinking skills, Art and dramatic play. I add and take away some of what they have planned, but for the most part it is all done for me….Soooo great!
Jasmine does most of the curriculum with us, except for she does Funnix math and I also made her a binder full of handwriting, thinking skills, etc. worksheets separated by day.
Here’s some pictures I managed to take of our first week!
The chapter book we are reading is ‘The Adventures of Reddy Fox’ After we read the chapter I have added in journal time.
Jada draws a picture describing what happened in that chapter and then she writes the story. This is one of their favorite things to do daily!
This was a very Blessed week! We also started a new discipline/reward system which I will try and blog about later. We enjoyed our times with the Lord and with each other. God is sooo Good!
