Oh, I love hearts they are sooooo pretty! They are the best shape EVA!
Of course, the first shape my girls took interest in and the first one they easily recognized was the heart.
In fact, my oldest daughter when she was 3 loved drawing hearts so much she found a pointy object and carved little hearts (probably 50 or more) all over her bedroom wall. (sigh)
We’ve always done a lot of hands-on projects for early learning around here. This easy sort heart match printable project was a fast favorite for my girls.
Here is a simple heart match printable for you. You can use this with your tot, preschooler or kindergartner to engage them in a fun way to learn the color sight words.
Hopefully this will keep their little hands busy so they don’t carve on your walls.
BONUS: With this free printable your kiddos will also learn to match the color word with the color.
