In the river of life, some people tend to just pick up their feet and allow the current of the world and life to carry them, tossing them to and fro through torment and tragedy. Never knowing where they are or why, lost and confused, lonely and empty. It is our calling as Christians to reach out and grab them to help them find their way up river.
Staying in God’s Current
When we plant our feet and no longer allow that current to drag us through the muck, we can stay in the flow of God, which is usually upstream against the current against what is the norm or acceptable worldly ways. In God’s current, it is harder to swim, but yet not…lol. When you are in the current of God you are ultimately on your path, your destiny if I may. Any trials you go through God is with you with His amazing love, peace and joy planted in you. And the reward at this end of the river is the ultimate reward-> eternity with our LORD.
In the realm of the spirit things are moving fast and frequent! If you aren’t tuned in to the frequency of the Lord you are certain to miss something. In my life I am ever changing in the Lord..Daily! I believe if your paradigm of life isn’t constantly changing to the way God sees it, you may just find out you have picked up your feet somewhere along the way and are floating easily down the lazy river. This simply means as we grow closer to God we can now see pain as something to make us stronger, or loss as a way to bring us closer to the Lord. Fear is no longer an option now we choose Faith. We no longer see things the way we used to. We can now see things through the eyes of the FATHER. Ya know, we can always do better, get closer to God, reach higher, praise more, pray more, give more, complain less and the list goes on and on…. And none of this in a striving way but a consistent gain so to speak.
I am beyond excited to see where God is taking me everyday and I am willing and able to follow His will for my life in every area. Will you join me? Let’s go together against the natural and easy current of the world and start fighting and battling our way upstream into the flow of God. Join me to see where God is taking us as we journey through this life, seeking Him first, following His sweet voice and beckoning to His every call. All for His Glory!!
