Hey It’s that time again….Time for the girls to pick their favorite activity of the week. And the winner is ‘I Spy Alphabet’. This is an alphabet recognition game I started when my oldest was a little over a year old. She learned all of her letters by the time she was 20 months old. O.K., here is the gist of it. So easy, yet so effective.
Take all your foam letters (you can find them at walmart) and throw about 10 of them on the floor, call out a letter and have the child search until they find it. For added
exercise fun I give them each a destination to run the letters to. For older kids you can throw them all out or for even younger just throw a few. This can also be used for number recognition as well. Until next time…God Bless!
