Sabrina and Her Committee

Story number 1, Sabrina and Her Committee, I loved all the stories, but this was my fave…It was so deep that it broke my heart and then healed it! Sabrina is an imaginative little girl who is deeply disturbed by the voices (her committee) in her head (hair) a direct effect of the negative comments by parents, friends, teachers…etc. She has lost all confidence in herself to do anything right. But when she finally tells all the voices to leave, she hears another voice, a gentle voice, this time in her heart, named “GRACE”. This voice soothes her and fills her with love and confidence. Me, being a spiritual person, relate this to the still small voice in my heart “JESUS” who has completely transformed the way I see myself! Love it! Love it!
 

Mediocrity

In the second story, Mediocrity, you will find that we are being visited from people from the planet, ADEQUATE, out of the universe, MEDIOCRE. The story continues on to show you how you can spot them. There are 13 rules to look for when finding these invaders. A couple of the rules are-They are satisfied- never inspired, and they are rarely paying attention. I believe, this story will relate to most children and even some parents, I saw myself as one of these alien visitors at times throughout the story…lol! And with my girls, at times, it can be an uphill battle to get them to really care about everything they are doing. This will inspire you and your kids to do your very BEST!
 

Grumpy, Grouchy and Grateful

Macaroni and Cheese volume 1 Children's book

The third and final story, Grumpy, Grouchy and Grateful is a story about 3 caterpillar brothers who do not share the same outlook on life. Grumpy and Grouchy were always complaining and never satisfied, why Grateful enjoyed every bit of life and always found the good in every situation, even through the tough times. This story will teach your children the importance of love, joy, peace, kindness and gratefulness, no matter what may occur throughout life. They will be encouraged to view the world in a new light!

I really cannot say enough about Macaroni and Cheese, Volume 1, it is truly a treasure. My hope is that all parents and teachers get this book. It will plant positive, uplifting and encouraging seeds within our children and even within ourselves. It will spring up new and important conversations with you and your kids and bring to light these very common issues we all seem to face, but do not exactly know how to handle. Don’t forget to check out the activities in the back that line up perfectly with the stories.

    I had never heard of this book but when I saw it I knew I had to enter. I have a niece that loves mac n cheese so I think she would be interested in this book. It would be fun to read thru the book with her.
