Family Vacations can get quite pricey…and a trip to Disneyland or Disneyworld is no exception. As we all know this is the big time dream of most children and some adults to go to Disney.
How much are Disneyland Tickets?
Disneyland ticket prices -1 day Park Hopper Pass, including Disney’s Fast Pass! Entry into both Disneyland and California Adventure on the same day. The price at the gate for a one day park hopper cost $137 per adult and $131 per child, But you can get them at Magic Ticket Discounts which is located just 1 block from Disneyland for $118 per adult and $115 for kids.
All tickets are 100% guaranteed, and you don’t have to purchase the tickets online, you just make a reservation and pick up your tickets at the office beforehand. There are soooo many ticket scams out there so buyer beware and be smart. FYI Magic Ticket Discounts actually has a 5 star rating on Yelp also;-)
As a little girl this was seriously like the ultimate of ultimate dreams to me and it finally came true a couple summers ago. We were blessed with the opportunity to take our girls to Disney World for a day.
Granted this day just happened to be the hottest day ever. (ugh)
We still had a blast though, as you know they have a lot of inside activities and rides to enjoy. This mama was running for the Fast Passes while daddy stayed with the kiddos in the air conditioning keeping them hydrated. You may think I am exaggerating a bit but, I kid you not, this was the hottest most miserable…fun day ever…hahahaha.
Disney Tips and Tricks
- -Make a plan, get a map of the park and plot it out…Disney is very overwhelming if you don’t know where to go and what to do. Sit down with the family and decide what you want to ride, where you want to eat, how much you will spend on souvenirs, what characters your kids can’t go without seeing…etc. Map it out!
- -As I mentioned before the Fast Passes are a must, and they really save a lot of time and they are totally FREE. They aren’t included for all the rides, but quite a few. It is basically like you are standing in line, but really you are enjoying another adventure while your spot is saved in line. With the FastPass you get to actually bypass the line when the time is right…yay! Just make sure you are back in time:-)
- -Pack a lunch, the restaurants are very expensive and usually overcrowded, I would suggest packing snacks and drinks also cause time flies at Disney and there is just way too much to do to stop and wait in line for all meals and snacks and we all know kids need snacks or they get pretty cranky and no one wants to deal with a melt down with the audience of thousands.
- -Pack extra clothes, in case of spills, rain, change in temperature, think ahead so you don’t have to buy your kids that $50 Mickey Sweatshirt just so they are comfortable.
- -If you want to watch the fireworks and parade, get your spot early, all the hotspots go fast, people start winding down and finding a place for the show up to two hours before the parade starts. And it is virtually impossible to have someone save a spot for you, cause it gets crazy crowded and you’ll never get through.
Disney World was a great time, but next time we go to Disney it will be in Anaheim, California!! I’ve been to Florida quite a few times, but I would love to go to Cali next time. Going to the same place over and over just isn’t fun to me, I want to see it all and experience all the great places in the United States and the world for that matter.
You can find more tips and get updates and information about Disneyland on the Magic Ticket blog. They have articles from buying tickets safety to the best restaurant at Disneyland, also an article about something I know my girls would love, the New Little Mermaid Undersea Adventure that sounds amazing.
Well that’s all for now I really hope you all have a safe and wonderful Disney vacation and that you make a lot of amazing memories.
