Sometimes you just need to shake things up and jump into the world of imagination with your kids. That’s what this mom did today! I chose to dive in and have fun playing restaurant with my girls.
My girls love to eat out and are constantly begging if we can go somewhere to eat. I’m sure none of you have this problem with your children…lol.
So one day this week they were asking me if we could go to a restaurant for lunch and so I kindly tell them no and if they really think about it they eat at a restaurant everyday…Momma’s Kitchen.
PLAYING RESTAURANT
So when it came time for lunch I made them up some little menus complete with main course, sides, drinks and dessert. They loved it!
To make it real fun I printed them each out a Dinosaur Train coloring page and gave them each a few crayons to keep them occupied while making their order {sounds like a REAL restaurant to me}.
They placed their orders, which happened to be PB & J’s all around…Yay that made it easy for me.
Playing restaurant was fun and took us out of our norm…Much needed!!
