“But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [a]make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit;” – Jude 1:20 Amp
What would MOST HOLY FAITH look like to you? Maybe not fearing the what ifs, not doubting the promises, submitting yourself to and totally relying on God the Father for all! Knowing that He has you in the palm of His hand.
God said, “Become as little children.” {Matthew 18:3} Do you think he means immature and disobedient like a child? or rather humbled, reverent, dependent, completely relying on your father for everything, He wants us to need Him so much it hurts.
Most Holy Faith – The Adventures of Trusting God and Following the Cloud
If you have children, put yourself in their shoes for a moment…
How do they see their daddy, He’s their provider, protector, their hero, He can do no wrong. To my girls, their dad is all of this and more…This is how our Daddy{God} wants us to see Him, but on an even deeper level.
Because we are adults it is not natural to completely rely on someone else, we have always been taught the complete opposite, to be self sufficient, work, work, work, provide for yourself and your family. Of course I am not saying go quit your job or quit going for your masters degree…but just hear me out.
I’m just saying do it only by the lead of the Holy Spirit…
If you just live life with the idea that your job or career can keep you, you are being deceived. To follow your call… your destiny for the kingdom of God is the only true way to survive, because God won’t lay you off, there will never be a kingdom shutdown, a recession or a cut in your wages!
If you are in your career or job and it is God given, God led than great! But if you are just doing what you want to do without even asking God what you should do or you are just working week after week to just survive, God’s got more for you! He is your father He is your provider, He wants you blessed over abundant for His glory!
You have two choices to choose from…
A. The path that you choose for yourself, which could lead to who knows where? May seem right at first, but when you hit any blocks or rocks in the road, you don’t have a guide to get you around the obstacles…You have chosen to leave Him back at the fork in the road.
or…
B. The Path that God has for you, which can only lead to good things, not saying that there aren’t some rocks and blocks on this path, or that you will not stumble, but everything on this path leads to you exercising your MOST HOLY FAITH and it comes with a map {Bible} and a personal guide {Holy Spirit}. This is the path of Righteousness. You will completely rely on your Daddy on this path, you will help a lot of people find their path of Righteousness and you will be greatly rewarded and walk it in His Peace all for His glory.
Though my faith is tried and tested, day in and day out, though I have not seen all His promises come to fruition, I will not look back. I will keep pressing on in my MOST HOLY FAITH.
I am pressing on toward my high calling in God. He is the author and finisher of my faith. I am growing and building muscles of faith even when I can’t see the results right away. There is a day, a glorious day, soon coming, so very near and the difference shall be seen. The only looking back I will do is to see how far I have come and give God praise and all the Glory for the distance I have traveled.
How amazing it is to know every time I dream My Father has dreamed even BIGGER. Every time I hope, He hopes BIGGER. I stand in awe of His ability to implant the vision and purpose of His heart within me. Stretch my faith and enlarge my ability to believe. I am trusting my DADDY, with my MOST HOLY FAITH and continue to soar HIGHER and HIGHER in my Daddies arms!!
