We all know Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and share what we are thankful for. This thankful tree free printable is a great way to teach our kids gratitude. Bad attitudes and the gimmes can be overwhelming. It is our nature as humans to be selfish so tiny humans have a harder time with it.
Sometimes we forget that we are blessed in so many ways and Thanksgiving becomes mostly about a day off from school or work, about eating turkey or about the black Friday deals that have been progressively taking over Thanksgiving day. (sigh)
This Thanksgiving let’s take a moment to thank God for all that we have, just stop and think about where you came from, what you’ve been through and how blessed you really are. Also let’s pray for our troops that can’t come home to share a meal and laughter with their family, let’s say a prayer or share meal with those that can’t afford one or for some reason their family doesn’t get together for Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving is an ideal time to share with your children what gratitude looks like. Even simple gestures can make a big difference. Someone’s life can be changed with just ONE word.
I know when it comes to our kids we are always looking for ways to build up their character and remind them how very blessed they are. So I created you something to share with your kiddos this Thanksgiving. Here’s a thankful tree free Printable.

Print both the tree and leaves out. Cut the leaves and write on the leaves what you are all thankful for. Then paste the leaves to the tree and display in your home. I hope this blesses you as much as you have all blessed me over the years. Happy Thanksgiving.
