I was given a 4-week free membership to try out Miss Humblebee’s Academy to share my honest take on it.
Over the past 4 weeks, I have had the pleasure to try out Miss Humblebee’s Academy with my 3-year-old Jordan. Miss Humblebee’s Academy is a Kindergarten Preparatory Online School. Designed to help all kids enter Kindergarten with ease. It’s a play-based, fully interactive and fun learning experience. Miss Humblebee’s Academy is not video based, it’s an actual interactive program, which can also be used on any tablet, without having to worry about pop-ups or links to external websites.
It was so easy for Jordan to navigate she has become quite the pro with a mouse, which she has actually never used before by the way. The ease and simplicity of this program along with the sound cues when she mouses over anything are what really made it easy for her. She loved feeling independent and I was very proud of my big girl.
In Miss Humblebee’s Academy you can choose a lesson 2 ways, either just click on the whiteboard and it will automatically bring up the next lesson, or you can choose a lesson from a huge list of over 700 lessons. You will find tons of lessons from math, reading, science, social studies, music & art. It pretty much covers everything your little learner will need to know before Kindergarten.

Over 60 songs ranging from traditional music like: “Hey Diddle Diddle”, “Twinkle Star” and “This Old Man” to new exclusive music for Miss Humblebee. Your child and you will enjoy hours of educational, entertaining music spanning a vast genre of music styles.
They have an amazing list of music to choose from- both originals and classics. Jordan loved this part cause she is a mover and a shaker. She loves to get up and get moving. She simply cannot hear a tune without dancing. Her fave was Head and Shoulders Knees and Toes…hahaha!
Children will be taken on an art exploration through the years. Learning about famous painters and paintings, as well as different forms of artistic expression. Children will also listen to auditory cues to paint by number and paint by letter.
Learning about art becomes even more exciting when the children get the opportunity to create their own masterpiece.
Miss Humblebee’s Academy offers hundreds of drawing, coloring and tracing activities that can be done on the computer or printed out as printables to be used offline. Children also have the option to print out the artwork they created or a black and white version of their creation to color with crayons.
Jordan’s favorite part of the whole program was earning coins after ever lesson completed! She loved to see the coins she would earn. Throughout her lessons, she earned coins, stickers & puzzle pieces to be used in creating a picture later. They have a sticker room, puzzle room, and art box all for creating.
Her second favorite would be the avatar room, where you can create your character. As a girl, she loves any kind of dress up fun like this. It is actually really cute:-)
Overall we really enjoyed our time with Miss Humblebee’s Academy or as Jordan would say it Miss Bumblebee’s Academy, lol. It is a very comprehensive program for preschoolers and would be perfect for ages 3-5. They really set the bar higher, simplify concepts, and establish a good foundation for learning. This definitely would be a program I would recommend to everyone looking to prepare their child for success before entering Kindergarten. It’s important to go into Kindergarten with confidence, when you have confidence learning comes easy.
Miss Humblebee’s Academy is simple, clean and presents the ideas clearly. It also actually evaluates if the child comprehends the new concepts and sends parents progress reports straight to your email once a week. Or you can access your child’s progress report from the website anytime as well.
Another great thing about this program is that for every membership purchased, one will be given to a child in need.
Well if you are ready to start it out and still not sure you can test it for a week to make sure it is a good fit. I always want to get as much information as I can on any curriculum or product before I purchase so that is awesome.
Home subscriptions are available monthly or annually. The cost per month is $12.95 for first child and $5.00 for each additional child. The cost per year is $129 for the first child and $60 for each additional child. You can Purchase or sign up for your free week trial Here.
